  I attended my sister’s wedding at His Ministry Aurora OH July 25th, 2015. I was not looking forward to entering this church since I had a bad experience with them in the past. I was avoiding Pastor Jim, and it was obvious that I was doing so but he came up to me anyway with a fake greeting and reached out to shake my hand which I turned down because of the way he treated my mother a few months ago. A few months ago my mother voiced her opinion and stood up for a church member who was being berated by pastor Jim in front of other church members at a prayer meeting, no one should be yelled at and embarrassed in front of people attending, he is definitely no God, when my mom could not take this anymore she went up to this lady and consoled her and told her she did not do anything wrong, and that she was a good mother, since Pastor Jim did not like what my mother did he told her to sit down and shut up, my mother did not appreciate how she was talked too. Because of this incident a few days later they had a meeting and basically she was forced to leave the church, and called a dingbat later at another meeting in front of all church members, sadly no one stood up for her including my sister and her boyfriend. Since the church didn’t have an organist and couldn’t find a suitable replacement they called her back, apologized and she returned.
  It is my right not to shake somebody’s hand, and when I did that he got very defensive and said “I guess it’s true what people say about you” and he also said “you are not saved” then he cowardly left and pastor Jim’s wife Cindy was close by and said what was going on, I told her that I did not appreciate how you talked about my mother and kicked her out of church after all these years, and she immediately said “that is a lie, we never did that” she basically called my mom a liar to my face, and then she cowardly scurried off as well. First of all who is he to tell me that I’m not saved, I was saved as soon as I left that church and was able to see the world and get out of their bubble. I can’t believe that they would lie and have the nerve to speak to me that way. I would never recommend this church to anybody, they certainly did not have any respect for me and my 70 year old mother who played their organ for over 20 years, how quickly they will turn on you just like they did my mom. In my opinion this church is a joke, and have no respect for people, it is a joke what is going on inside those walls, beware, if I could give this review o stars I would.
